⭐ Our story

Started by Kids. Built for the Future.

TechWave Lab Kenya wasn't dreamed up in a boardroom. It was dreamed up in a classroom — by students who believed technology belongs to them too.

📖 How it began

A Classroom Idea That Grew Waves

It started with curiosity. Misha Mwendwa, a Grade 6.1 student at St. Bakhita School – Sabaki Branch, fell in love with coding — the feeling of typing an idea and watching it come alive on screen.

But he noticed something: most children use technology every day, yet almost none are taught to create it. Games, apps and websites felt like magic made by someone else, somewhere else.

So Misha shared a dream with his classmates: what if Kenyan kids taught each other to code? Together with his co-founders, TechWave Lab Kenya was born.
