Both are friendly, both are hugely popular, and both are genuinely useful โ so the honest answer is: it depends what excites you more.
Choose Python first if you like the idea of data, AI, or automating boring tasks. Its clean, plain-English style makes it a gentle introduction to programming logic.
Choose JavaScript first if you want to see your code come alive in a browser immediately โ buttons that respond, games you can click, animations that move.
The good news: at TechWave you don't have to pick forever. Our Intermediate track teaches HTML, CSS and JavaScript together, and Python has its own track right alongside it.
Most of our older members end up learning both eventually โ they solve different problems, and knowing both makes you a much stronger builder.
